NYFW - Backstage to Up Front

The NYFW adventure continues...

I wish y'll could see how cute this East Village apartment is...but this corner is adorable right?!   Thought it was the perfect place for a photo op.

Lace blouse + Necklace - Nordstrom.  Pants - 7 For All Mankind.

I got to tour backstage with MAC Cosmetics for the Noon by Noor show & I even snuck back to the dressing area for a sneak peek at the runway looks as they were being prepped.

I rushed to make the Carmen Marc Valvo show & was thrust into a world of sheer genius.  I went from whimsical softness to sharp lines & edginess- but I LOVED IT!  There is deep sensualness rooted in the glamour of this collection & I only wish I had the body to rock all those sheer panels to show some skin ;)

I took a break from Lincoln Center for a late afternoon rendezvous through the EV (East Village, heheh I think I'm from NY now).  I stopped in Muji, a Japan based, daily-everything-store!  Um... I could wander their knick-knack shelves for hours....they even have ready-to-wear for men & women.  It reminds me of IKEA but for "stuffs" not furniture.  Visit their website...you'll get what I mean.

The night was topped off with 2nd row seats to Mark & Estel's collection.  It was funky with the wildest accessories!

(Below Middle) How incredible is this metal body jewelry?! I don't even know what to call that full body harness.  (Below Left) I may not be brave enough to rock an accurately placed skeleton sweater; but I WILL try that shredded maxi dress as a cover up!
