I'm beyond late on posting these pictures but…they are here. FINALLY. Former local boy Geoff Mau, now a transplant in SF, invited me to style an editorial shoot while he was home on vacation. Of course I'd jump at the chance to work with someone who's diverse portfolio reads like a culmination of all my favorite fashion mags. (Click here for his website).
Geoff wanted to go for a moodier shoot with a strong woman in a hazy grey world. I'm currently OBSESSED with white so we found a way to incorporate both ideas into one amazing shoot. This was my first experience working with Jordann Aguon (hair and makeup) and Jodi (model). I think we make a good team right?
I paired up with local designer Mari Nakamura once more for the perfect mix of hard edge fashion & femininity. I love her use of faux leather, mesh, & chiffon. We completed the look with some heavy metal accessories, including mirrored glasses that I MADE MYSELF (shameless bragging haha). I hope you all appreciate the work that went into this shoot :) We battled wind, rain, & VERY sharp rocks; not to mention hiking to our location carrying ALL WHITE apparel. PHEW. For a fun BTS video, shot by Orrin (photographer assistant), please visit my IG @summerstylehi.
For full album of the shoot see my portfolio page here.
Ok enough talk! Go on…let the pictures speak for me.
